It started just looking at random pretties. The teapot was still there. I still wanted it. Went looking for asian teapots on a search. Found an 'Asian kitchen' store.

I must have went sparkly over a good 100 things.

Goddamnit, I miss Chinatown runs... T_T

The pottery & the chopsticks just make me go <3 I really wish there was one of those stores like the place that had the pottery basement that I got my cheepy tea set at. Like Pearl River. I loved going and looking at all the neat Asian stuff and I wanted to buy so much of it...

Maybe this summer... I'll try saving up and not buying much of anything and maybe this summer we can do a Chinatown run and get some things.

Cause goddamnit, I miss it. I miss the touch of Asia in all the New Paltz stores. I think thats part why I keep going <3 at the New Paltz store in Rutland.

I don;t think it's worth LIVING near, as we only went once a year anyway, but...

I'd like... to start up the once a year NYC run again. I miss Book Off, I miss Chinatown, the pastry shop on the Edge of Little Italy and the bakery with those red bean buns....

All the stuff that was part why I went for Asian studies. It wasn't just the anime.

I really want a new tea set. But I think it just might be a symptom of something more...

Eco says one thing, Asian says another, tug of war. Just a chip, but a chip is bad, shouldn't waste, but I want a quality set...

Come Febuary, I'll have work. I should go over budgeting and find out if that can all be set aside for that... or if we'll need it for summer. *sighs*

*wistful wanting*

Went to bed 2am. Vaugly got up at 7 with Judy. Went back to bed at 8. Got up at 11.

And I'm still tired and want to just crawl back into bed. Bleh.

They already had one clip show... two eps ago, infact! Why on earth do they have ANOTHER clip show at ep TEN? Do they just think noone's WATCHED the first half of the show that they have to basicly repeat the thing?

And it's not even a condenced one. You just got half the freaking FIRST EP in this. I think they added in s smidge of new content but... eesh!

... and this clip was in the other clip show too... THis one too...

And now the clip that started the show really screwing itself over.

Yeah, by watching these two clip shows, you can skip the other eps. They're covering EVERYTHING. Even the unimportant crap, like the freaking boat race. ... and they're skimming over a bunch of screens that were, ya know, plotful and all, and leaving the battle screens INTACT. What in heck?

It's like they feel the need to spell everything out with the voice over between the clips....

Yes, yes, we get it, Jesus-boi is a walking plot device. Eeesh.

You shouldn't need a SECOND clip show at ep 10 to point that out! ><

Pacing for this = ZERO!

Rereading bits of Birth and felt the need to spam you all with one of my favorite bits from it. :)

Yami no Bakura's eyes narrowed as he took a step toward Bakura. "Finish it," he hissed. "Cleanly."

Bakura took a step back, still clinging to the phone, torn between the part of him that pleeded for his own self presevation and the part of him that was still screaming in the pain of betrayal. Slowly, he calmed. "Or else you'll do what?" he said, voice holding a slight taint to it. "I won't let you win...."

"What could you do to stop me, really?" Yami no Bakura sneered, smirking. "I've got the Ring and my own body for trasportation. I only keep you around for..." He faltered, trailing off for a moment. "If I didn't need to keep you quiet, I'd have left right after I was done with you!"

"You're a shitty lier," Bakura said flatly. "And I'm sure Yuugi-kun just heard you, Ring-kun..."

Yami no Bakura gave sharp gasp before growling and yanking the phone from Bakura's hand. He covered the receiver before speaking. "It's true. If it weren't for the fact that you'd jeopardize my plans, I would've called an ambulance from a pay phone or something and left." He extended the phone to Bakura, the receiver still covered. "Now finish it. I can't return you to the hospital without suspicion, so I'll stay here and make sure you don't die. After that, I'll remove myself from your life if I feel I can trust you."

"You mean you'll hold me prisoner until you can figure out how to live on your own," Bakura retorted, yanking the phone back. "Or was that little display in the hospital all a sham?"

Yami no Bakura twitched. "Tch. I've been thinking, and I'm sure I can take care of myself."

"Then you speak to him," Bakura smiled sweetly, holding the phone out again.

"What would I say to him that would make any... sense." Yami no Bakura's eye twitched noticably as what Bakura was implying sunk in. He needed the boy to communicate for him. "I'll pass," he said sourly.

Bakura's smile seemed to almost drip with fake sweetness. "Thank you. Now let me talk to my friend in peace...."

Yami no Bakura wilted, hung his head slightly, and backed away from Bakura. The situation had been reversed, putting the power in Bakura's hands. Bakura could say any number of things that would have his friends busting down his door long before Yami no Bakura could get the phone out of his hands.

He was the captive, now, and it was far from pleasing.

Bitchy!Bakura is almost as fun as Evil!Bakura. :D

I probally should post this somewhere. *muses*
