I'm not dead! Really!

I just fergot about LJ, AGAIN. ^^;

So.. yeah... I survived yet another family gathering, yeay! And I didn't even feel the need to kill anyone! *happy*

So yeah, if you missed me, I was in Okalahoma, land of the family gatherings.

Drove down to the Judy parents thurday after her work got out [><] Shadichan clung to my leg breifly before we left, which amused.

Next day, woke up all early and got on the first dink plane to Cincinatti [and I didn't break the Juchan's hand either. just wimpered alot. ><] and waited 4 hours before taking another dink to Tulsa.

Good thigns about the Cincinatti airport: Mall preztles.
Bad thing: No Snapple becides lemon tea. Arg. ><

Get in to Tulsa, meet the parents, check into hotel, go eat Chinese food. [whoo. heh. :)] Wander around a bit, then go back to the hotel and klunk out.

next day: Fun fun family fubar! wheee!

We go to Aunt Patties where Juchan swiftly goes to hide behind the comp while the family had an hour long 'Where do you wanna go?' 'I dunno, where do you wanna go?' argument. Had fun watching Rich & David play... what was it, Mario world? Some Nintendo Mario game all enthuasitcly [spectator sport!] Photo 'nother photo

Wound up going for lunch with ma and the Juchan and missing out of a family mini drama [fun fun fun! *sarcasm*]

Finaly, comes time for GGrandma's party [whoo]

After dad spazzing cause of bad directions and not being able to find the place I remember why these things always wind up bad.

My family sucks at planning.

Cause once we finaly GET to the place where the [as I nearly type duel, damned Yuugiou music warping m' braaaaaaaaaaains] place where the party's gonna be, dad coments that we're supose to meet everyone outside.

outside where is the question. Juchan and I go inside and try and find the palce we're supose to be [cometing that the wedding party that was there had good music] and eventualy go decide it's saner to wait inside and then find people. It's also less warm...

So finaly people gatherand I take GREAT amusment in the fact that people are wearing hawian shirts and sundresses. Why? Because Ma got on my ass about not having pants becuase we had to dress up and be all fancy. Ha!

So we have fun looking at the sharks and stuff and wind up having a table mostly to ourselves. Twas me, Juchan, ma and Dad, amusingly enough.

Had fun talking to the shark guy in the tube through the tank and looking at the sleepy sharks and taking pictures of the family chaos

So, we managed to avoid being socal. Talked with Sam some and had amusiment with my brother, his evil twin and the Millenium Leis [yes, I made the joke, I am a sad, sad person. *laughs*]

So, as stuffs wrapping up, we go use the lou before we leave. Come out and get hearded out the fire exit so we wouldn't disturb the weding party and we walk to the car to wait for the parents and Rich.

And wait. and wait. and wait.

Atashi no BAKA oyatachi was waiting for us INSIDE the aquairum. Arg.

So, the tired and now kinda cranky FranNyan and JUchan squish back into the car to head abck to the hotel. Or not. We go back to Patty's house and the Juchan and m'dad go to lie down and nap while the family watches Cosmo's video of the trip so far. >< Loudly.

the Juchan has comented that, compared to my family, I'm not pushy or arrogant or loud at all. Heh. *Grins*

So, the now very tired and cranky Juchan and the Fran get back to the hotel and try and get some sleep.

Have I mentioned yet we were sharing a full sized bed? It was not made for two people... We're used to a queen. Both the Juchan and I toss alot in our sleep. ><

Yeah.

So... we get up the next day and the Juchan is sick. This is vaugly ironic becaise she said she was planning on faking sick to avoid going to Sue's BBQ. [Long story here that is best left to IM with those who care to hear the FranNyan's comentary on the Feng Shui and aura of Sue's house] So, Juchan stays in the hotel while we go visit GGrandma [and I get Juchan's parents copy of the cookbook signed, which amuses. :)] and then I come back, take her out to get some food and then stay with her while Dad goes to fix Patty's thourmostat.

Family comes back to hotel and I go swimming with the group, chatting with Sam muchly [ah, sore arms. ><] while my brother has fun being his usial menising self and Carrie tries not to get her newly bleached hair wet. This amuses. :)

After, I go up to shower before we go for icecream and fin the Juchan has gotten worse.

FranNyan goes into SCRAMBLE! mode, becoming ULTRA FRANNYAN! *fanfair*

... shutup. *grins*

anyway, I run around the hotel a while trying to get stuff and find out if there's any place with soup or anything to make the Juchan feel better and get dad to take me to a store to get her broth and liquid tylonol [phear my lack of being able to spell! ><] and make her the broth and tea.

Sam comes over for chatness, Rich invades with Carrie in tow and SleepyKaiba!Juchan gets an insanely high score on her game.

We sleep!

Next day, get to the air port Get on another dink with Rich to Cincinatti again. Hangout, have mall pretzles and get on yet another dink and go to the Juchan's parents house. Hanging out with Kristenness occurs!

Next day, we go shopping with the Kristen [I got me Magican of Black Bondage--erm, Im ean Chaos sandles. Whoot] and find a Michelle lurking in the underground of First Hebrew and then go have much chinese food before heading back to the Judy house.

After telling the Jenchan it's a boobs only night, she agrees to leave Terry in her trunk and comes over for cards and such. Fun. If I wasn't so exausted from trying to fix the Judyparents computer. ><

Next day, we hang out with Kristen some before heading up to go home.

And drive smack into a massive rain storm. I'm talking like... Visabiltiy = 1ft rainstorm. Funfun. So we pause in New Paltz til it passes there and go have food at Neko's. Dude there STILL remembers us and our orders! Fwee!

So after eating, we head out and the storm has caught up with us. >< Joy. But we get though it and have a nice ride up, minus the part where I get sunburn over my drivers tan because I had my sleeve up to let the air in. Arg.

We get home, hug the Shadichan, and I SHOWER. Then check my 100+ emails. Woo.


yeah. That was an exesivly long and boring entry and probally was the longest entry that wasn't a random story pasting yet. Woot.

'parrently we missed the big ass power outtage. We just had flickers and dim lights and the freeeeeeeaky traffic lught that went from green, to blinking yellow, to green again.

Similarly: Person from PF imed me asking how I knew 'Shadow Ivy' I blinked muchly til they explained they knew her from Tekkenness and saw her page wa snow on FranWeb. Staaaaaaalker! :)
