Started cleaning the kitchen, and there are these spaces next to the drawers that are open, looking like there should have been more small drawers tehre but there weren't.

So we put things like potatoes and onions and such in there cause they don't get fridged and hell, we don't have much space.

Cleaning that out and found SO MANY GROWING POTATOES.... and EVEN WORSE

One of the taters had ROTTED and leaked THROUGH THE BAG.

The wood under that bag? Unstained pine.

IT'S PRETTY STAINED NOW!

Fuuuuuck ><

I don;t know how to get that stain out, or if I even can. >< I need to get a roll of contact paper and find bins to shove in those spaces so this DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.

*sobs*

I suck at house keeping T_T So badly T_T

It's going to be a pretty tricky stain to remove... I would try:

- Going over the drawer bottom with a mircofiber cloth or a vaccum with one of those dusting extensions... (will remove extra debris/junk without using water)
- Try scrubbing the stained area with one of those magic eraser things
- Try cleaning the drawer with Murphy's vegetable oil soap (wood cleaner)

Good luck!

Also... if the drawer is wet if/after you use some sort of wood soap/cleaner/whatever, might want to get a dry towel over the stain and put some heavy books on top of it. In theory, the water + stain will migrate up into the towel...
