Day 4 of the job, and today was the worst. @_@
Cause, see... a bunch of kids have this thing where they get weekly or bi weekly progress reports sent home. These reports are send out every (other) wednessday and HAVE to be sent out Wednessday. Teachers suposidly know this, and are supose to have them all into the 504 (my) office in time for this to happen.
This does not happen. THis means much time is spent going over lists and marking down who hasn't sent what you need and managing this HUUUUGE wad of paper and making sure you have everything you need to send out.
Meanwhile, you also have the normal duties of that office, dealing with scheduleing meetings, resecudleing meetings, stuffing teachers mailboxes with an annoucement of said resecdued meetings (even though you already emailed them the memo), or the results of those meetings, send out homework request forms, ect ect.
Was supose to be out at one, but was tehre til quarter of 2, 2 being when I had made that apointment to get my car (hopefuly) fixed. Rush rush rush RUSH and then SIT for an hour and a half @_@
With no breakfast or lunch. Just the meal bar I had in my bag. Thank god whomever brought in the pinapple upsidedown cake Judy brought me else I'd be dead. @_@
ANd the boss was insane busy too. She wanted to go over something with me, said she'd meet me in the office after a quick phone call.
Half an hour later I finaly went 'GAH. MUST GET WORK DONE' and headed back out to the photocopier. [ I think I single handedly killed about 5 trees today.. @_@ CRAZY paperwork. Seriously.]
All I wanna do right about now is sit on my ass and play loathing. But now, I'm doing laundry... @_@
