Kinda intresting look/poke at processed foods designed for gender and age markets.

I haven't read the article, but I know for a fact that some foods marketed as "for women/women's health" are actually *bad* for (some) women. I had to warn my mother about foods with added soy isoflavones, since she's borderline hypothyroid and they can push you over into fullblown hypo. >:(

Huh. DIdn't know that one. Course, since my thyroid's kinda past it;s normal working stage, I probally don't need to worruy about that. ^^

Yeah, mine too. But for people who a)have a working thyroid and b)are susceptible to thyroid disease or borderline/subclinical, it can be a problem. And it's one that almost no one will warn you about, which really burns me.
