Importance of good neighbors, continued.

Downstairs just helped me PUSH the car to the garage.

Yeah, I realy don't want to move anymore. :D

Ironicly, as I read that I coughed. :D

Doing better. Not going through so many tissues today. :D [though honking my nose in the middle of class was very embarasing. ^^;]

And I'm not sure what downstair's name is eitehr. :D I think it's Dan, not sure. Finaly got it into my hea dthat next door is Dennis. :D I'm used to calling them 'Downstairs' 'Nextdoor' and the other apartment is 'next door downstairs' :D Makes conversations intersting. :D

i've never actually spoken to anyone in my building, but there are two japanese girls who live on the first floor and every time i am in the lift with them i have to bite my tongue to keep from asking them if they'll translate DJs for me. :D

glad you're feeling better, i hate being in school when i'm unwell too, it blows-- on many, many levels. :D

Yeah. 3 tests on a head cold = @_@

... course I'm missing one of em cause of the car, but... -_-

Hehe. I got talking with downstairs because he's out on his porch alot. The house is basicly a 2 family, two doors on teh front porch, one on each sides and ours is the upstairs unit. So after dropping Juchan off at work I sometimes stop and chat with him [avoiding the cigerrette smoke. ><]

It's all handy. :) I still have his power drill on load from making Shou's bin cage. :)

my building is only new and was intended for apartment use from the start so there's no sharing anything. well, actually there sort of is on the lower floors but i'm on penthouse so there's only a few of us up here. and our balconies are private, which is awesome for sitting out and writing fic... on the five days a year it's not raining, lol. :D

people in the building are a bit standoffish as well-- no one really seems to talk in the lift or anything, and i'm not really very good with people at the best of times, so i tend to just leave them to it. dad always said it was better not to make friends of your neighbors because if you fall out with them they're right on your doorstep, which is true, but it can be a right pain having no one in the building to take deliveries for you when you're gonna be out and stuff... :/

Personaly, I find it better to make friends with the neighbors lightly so you don't have fallings out and can deal with things more easily. :) I wouldn't sugest an indepth or heavy friendship with em, but a survace chatting sort of thing is very helpful.
