The Battle of the Bin
After much reading and prepairing, I set to work converting a large clear bin for Shou's new home.
First method: Drilling lots of holes into the top of the lid. 2 days of on and off drilling produced:

You can see where I started otu with making more or less neat lines, went to chaotic holes and then got agravated and did a random dotting for the middle. Since we had just sent out the order for a new wheel for him, we just opened up his CT1 and placed it in the bin and set on the lid.
We soon realized, we couldn't see him at all while he was in the top of the CT where he spent most of his time and I was worried I hadn't made enough holes and that he wasn't getting good ventilation. So I closed up the CT again and after a breif hunt for suplies, found some hardwear cloth and a bunch of screws and fastners.
First try I pulled the wire too tight so the lid wouldn't fit on right. 2nd try worked much better. We could see him in his CT and it was very easy to tell he would get good air circulation.
Then his wheel came in. I had gotten the bigger size because the med one was out of stock. The site had said it was 12" so I thought it would be a perfect fit.
The site had listed it wrong. It was 13 inches and too big for the lid.
I glared at it a moment, then took the lid back and began improvising.
Hours later with a few scratches and a bandaid, I had my solution!

At some later date I shall attempt makinga side window for the bin, but for now.... :)
