In his weekly Saturday radio address, Bush said the fighting there protected Americans at home.
By spreading the armed forces of this country all over the world and using up resources and running the soldiers into the ground to the point where they'll abuse the very people they were sent to protect, you are not protecting anyone. We're wide open to attack because our army is everywhere but home.
"The terrorists don't have anything to win the hearts and minds of the people of Iraq. All they care to do is disrupt."
Not true at all. The terroriests don't need to DO anything to win the hearts and minds of the people in Iraq. The US is setting everything up for them. They have a common enemy and a scapegoat. A dissatisfied people are easy to rally to violence. Blame a country or a people for everything that's gone wrong and you can get yourself an army.
