I have to agree with you on this one, Fran. I love animals, and don't want them subjected to pain or cruelty, but guess what? I also love human beings, fucked up little species what we are. And anyone who's going on and on about OMG teh suffering of the ickle baby seals while paying no attention to the fact that AIDS is killing thousands of people *daily* in Africa, that women in Pakistan can be bought, sold, raped, and murdered with impunity, that Uzbekistan, an ally of the "Freedom-Loving USA", gunned down hundreds of its citizens Tiananmen Square-style and got a slap on the wrist for it, that in much of North America discrimination because of sexual orientation is still legal...to say the least, it annoys me. *goes off to stab things*

Also, I <3ed the rant on Wiccans that you linked to earlier. I may show it to a friend of mine, who is a sweet person but, um, I think she's one of the ones it's targeted at. ^^;;
