So... someone want to start up a fanfic rating system that can be unisersaly used since it looks like the MPAA is trying to reclaim what's been becoming almost public domain [I utterly forget the term for it... I learned it in PR but have since lost it.. It's like how everyone calls a it a Bandaid no matter what the brand cause 'Adhesive bandage' is just a freaking awkward term. ]? Or possibly just do a 'This fic contains blahblahblah, reader disgression advised' like made for TV movies do.

Though honestly, most of that letter is just... stupid. Cause peope are reeeeeeeeeally gonna think the MPAA rated a fanfic... I don't anybody thinks of those ratings in any accication with the MPAA. And conseidering I've heard many a time talk of an 'NC-17 magazine' I think they have bigger chalanages then fanfic... It just seems a stupid way to do things cause it seems like they're bullying. I mean, already people are doing a 'You can fight this!' where as if the MPAA had their lawers compose a letter to the effect of 'We are trying to reclaim our ratings to juse be used for movies, so do not use them.' people would be more apt to go 'Oh. Okay.' rather then 'OMG YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! BULLIES!' Cause the letter makes it sound like they're accusing the webmaster/mistress of intentionaly defiling their ratings system and sullying their good name.
