Phantom the Opera: The Movie

How in heck can they manage that? How can you convay the grandure and magnificance of the music in a film? How can you take the feeling of the chandalear risging up from the stage to over yoru heads in the opening and then again when it come crashing down and the entire theater goes dark?

I'd like to go see that again, I think..

I don't think I'm going to bother withteh movie unless there's insane rave reviews from people I trust the opinion of [or have been sporting Phantom icons for what seems like months now. You know who you are. ;)]

.. and I really wish they'd used the same organ they did in the opening sequence for the actual Phantom song instead of the synth one. Though it may have over powered the voices... I'm just a junky for organs in music. <3 The loud, orcastra backed feel that just sourndeds.... *melty sigh*


and she says 'voice' in the orginal.. why does it sound like 'woice' in the remix?

Mmm... Happy crossover thoughts. One of these days... hehe.

Going to see it in about two hours! :O I'll let you know how it goes. I'm still a tad worried about Gerald Butler's voice, but Emmy Rossum I have some more faith in. Mr. Butler though...we'll see.

Now the chandelier...even in the trailers, the opening sequence is breathtaking, I think. The execution is just...wow. I don't think anything can really beat the musical (or the book at that), but I'm looking forward to the movie anyway. So I'll tell you what I think of it later. :D;;
