I dislike all of you 'OMFG!!' fangirls who only like characters cause they're 'HWAT! <3' and write them as girls. Kaiba is not cute, he's an asshole. He is only cute when there is a Mokuba involved. Yami Bakura is not cute. He is an asshole. Yami Malik is not cute. He is a sadistic asshole. Kaiba, Malik, Yami Yuugi and hell, the rest of the cast are not weaping flowers. You can maybe get away with making Shizuka one. Maybe. All the rest have balls. Even Anzu and Mai. THey could kick your sorry asses easily.

I dislike all you card game fanboys with your uber shiney rare cards that you apparenly think make your dick bigger. 'OMG, I hav ethis RARE CARD!' So what? You and your expensive ass rare cards can bite me and my comons centric deck. If it were not for the fact hat I can get good moeny for them, I would so be putting the peices of Exodia that I will be getting in that lovey shreader that dad gave me and cackling up a storm. And THEN I'd put the peices on display in a case. I don't give a shit about the rarity of cards. I will not be using Exodia in my deck. Not even for the WTF value anymore. DUel Monsters should be more about skillthen about luck. Has noone noticed how everyone razes on Jouno for his luck deck? It's wyh he loses. He's too dependent on luck.

The only thing sthat makes that arc Yuugiou is Yami Yuugi and dueling. You realize Doma is the only arc with out a tounrment? There's no prize for dueling. There;s no reason to be dueling! If you ahve a fragin magic pendent that breaks the rules of the univerce, why in HELL are you waistint it on peices of thick paper?! The bloody ITEMS are the seouce of power! The cards are just symbols! Peices of thick paper do NOT have power in that universe.

I am not a bloody hyprcite for likeing the factthat tehre[s going to be YB vs Kaiba because I didnt like Doma. Cause you know what? YB vs Kaiba could happen in the established universe. Just like the VR world arc could. and YB vs Kaiba doesn't introdroduce Gary Stue wanna be's. Yes, it's an added duel. But it's one that thecharacter interaction has never been seen before.

I am not a stupid fangirl because I like the Bakurae. I do not beleive they are 2d characters. Just because someone's goal is simple does not mean they are flat. Malik wanted revence. Yami Bakura wants power. How is Malik so INFINATLY better?

Do you realize where most Yuugiou sites out there would be without KnN? With out the other... what, two? three? acutal GOOD Yuugiou sites out there? Stop trying to mooch off our hard work and do your own. With out KnN, 90% of Yuugiou image shrines wouldn't exist. With out Janime, most of you idoits wouldn't know ANYTHING about this show. You can;t even get dub facts stright! Most of you get your info from FF.net! What is so bloody hard abotu the names Yami Malik or Yami Bakura?! And most of you would never KNOW Bakura's personal name is Ryou.. It's not in the dub. It's in the sub twice! And in the manga 3-4 times. But most of you idoits wouldn't even recognize it if you did hear it or see it. So WHY do you call him that?

So... in conclusion... Screw you, uncreative closed minded copy cat moochers who think you're fans. I hate you all. You're not making me leave this fandom. You're not making me hate my favorite characters. You've not makign me hate this show. You're not making me hate dueling.

Hnn... The whole "arguments can be reflected on the user" is too cliché to get into, since the above speaks for itself anyway.

Though I have to disagree with much of your evaluation on the cards part, though; yeah, rare cards don't make you good. But they do a lot to take away the need to be good. There's a reason Lightning Bolt, Cyber Pod, etc etc have all been banned in the Japanese environment, after all...

I do agree with disdain of the whole "look I got rares I'm l33t" approach a lot of people have about... Lots of things. Me, yeah, I got a lot of "shiney" cards, but not to make me more of a man (fargone cause, some would wager) as possibly implied, but simply because, at least in the American edition, the good cards, even some commons, got bumped up to rare, and that's just what we're stuck with if we want to win. So, eh... In all absolute honesty, a good commons deck cannot beat a good, "normal" deck, rares included, all other things being equal (such as skill); card games are designed that way, even if designers won't usually admit it, so that the strength curve ramps up for the most part as rarity increases. You want to be profitable, after all, and to do that, you have to sell cards to rare-seekers who want to win.

And, yes, I want to win. Yes, I have an Exodia deck, which I do believe you've played against, but not because it's "ooh Exodia", but because it's a "WTF I lost" deck when it kicks into gear... And winning is fun. No, no one's trying to compensate for inadequacies.

Yeah, sadly some rares are very helpful. I just have this one guy I duel alot who very much has this 'It's its not rare, what's the point' view, whos' had an all-rare deck and if he has a common version of a rare card, he will use the rare instead cause it's a 'Real' one.

My deckis about... 80% comons. I have a few rares, Lava Gollem [<3] Mirror force, Magic Cylinder and Mask of Restrict being the big 'Uber rare' ones. They have very helpful effects.

And you actualy have good skill with deck building and executing. I'm just getting tired of watching people pull the same damned menuvors over and over again. [which is why I adjusted my deck to be major remove from play action.]

Would be intresting to play you again, to see how much I've changed dueling wise... been like.. near a year, hasn't it?

I haven't really played much of anyone since then, really... Stopped a while because, you know, egocentric as this is, there were no more challenges amongst who I played with. So, eh.

Funny thing you mention Lava Golem; I never really took it into too much consideration until I got a handfull of them with the Invasion of Chaos promo packs, trying to get three Gemini Elves (only two, dammit). Though I got three Envoys of the Beginning out of it so it all balances out, I guess... Anyway, yeah, it seems like it could be fun when you mix it with Shadow Spell from the new Kaiba deck, but I haven't really bought too many cards, and the IoC stuff was the first since Labyrinth...

And, yeah, I've dealt with players that think "I got rares, lookit me". So I had my Harpies tear them apart for their trouble... It's going to be especially great when the Japanese restrictions reach here and all of the most 'staple' cards (even my Feather Duster, which hurts) get banned. Many of those players really won't know what to do...

WElp, if you want to get rid of two o the Lava Golems... *hopeful grin*

And what I like mixing it with is Mask of the Accursed and Mask of Restrick. 1500 damage per turn, it can't attack and you can't sacrfice it.

I sometimes think you ought to step back and take a break for a while... you always let yourself get so worked up over this stuff... I mean, 90% of fandom is filled with idiots. (90% of life is filled with idiots, some people would say.) It's just something you have to accept and move on from if you want to get any enjoyment out of the fandom.

Actually, no. I wrote Kaiba in First Kiss. Fran can say whatever she wants about him, 'cause it's true.

We also tend to make Jounouchi out to be this jerk in our fics. Do we hate him? No. Do we think he's a jackass? No. He just happens to hate Kaiba, and since Kaiba's one of our main characters, Jounouchi's a jackass. Since Kaiba in First Kiss is in love with Bakura and most of the fic is just interaction between the two of them, he's out of character. Because I don't know about you, but I'm very different when I'm just around Fran than when I'm around everyone else.

And what you write is not automatically what you believe. I wrote control, in which Bakura's a jackass who's controlling Yami Bakura. Do I think that's what's actually going on? No. It was just an interesting take for a challenge on KG and I'd been thinking about it.

Uh...what can I say that hasn't already been said? Not much, really. I agree with you on most character issues, and assuming you're stupid just becuase of what character you like is ridiculous. Characters don't create stupidity, the stupidity was already there.

You might need a breather, Fran, but I'm not you so I can't really say. Right now I'm feeling more interested in Yuugiou, but that's just because a lot of good things fell into my lap at the same time. But breathers do work, and complaining is cathartic (works for me, anyway).

You've seen my deck, so of course you know that I have a ton of rares, but I think I could make a deck without them. I have a Maha Vailo deck, actually, which needs some tweeking 'cause I don't have enough good light monsters... I do have fun showing off my cards and making the fanboys drool, and then trouncing them though. Hehheh. Fanboys think they're so great... Actually, I think your deck is quite possibly the best deck I've ever seen. You manage to win without even attacking. XD It's impressive, really.

Ah, the 'anime/manga god' fans. They're a pain. >< Liking one over the other is fine, of course, but it gets really annoying freak out because of a mention of something that happened in the one they don't like and then whine about how good their favorite version is. >< Perosnally, I like certain scenes fromt he manga over the anime, and certain anime things over the manga. I actually like Doma for the pure oddness and the strange character interactions, because in that arc everyone is faced with things they're not alwasy faced with. Especially as a Yami fan, I loved watching the Doma arc. XD I was not amused with the wrap-up, though. It was too quick and didn't address any of the issues raised in the arc. >< ... Erm, as for manga scenes, I liked the DDM arc much better in the manga than the anime. @_@
