V-suite bit

Again, coments are valued.

Kerry lifted the head piece of her V-suit out of the box and smiled. Finally, the ultimate 3D virtual-reality set up, the latest and greatest model there was, and it was hers, it was all hers. She admired the helmet, turning it around in her hands. She was already wearing the main part of the V-Suit, a black stretch outfit with wires and electrodes inside of it that not only would trick her nerves into believing that she was really touching the objects in the V-World, but control the impulses to her muscles, fooling them into thinking that she was running or climbing, when she was just sitting calmly. No cumbersome walking circle to say on, and no large motor to add money to her already rediculously high electric bill. Kerry smiled blissfully once more. All those months of pinching pennies had paid off.
She checked to make sure the game cartage she was going to use was inserted in the back of the headpiece. It was. Nothing left to do now but put it on and activate it. Kerry's smile renewed as she savored the moment. Finally, with a deliberate slowness, she placed the helmet on her head and connected it to the rest of the suit. The suit gave a slight hum as it did a self-diagnostic.
"All systems Go." a pleasant female voice reported. "Please lower the face plate."
Kerry sat herself down, and hesitated slightly. The faceplate was the one part of the V-suit that didn't quite thrill her. It was an instrumental part in the V-world experience, doing for your face what the suit did for the rest of your body. It regulated the air temperature on your face to match the temperature that the rest of your body was fooled into feeling, and contained the voice-recognition apparatus that allowed the game to know what you were speaking. But Kerry wasn't completely comfortable with it, although it was much better then the model that required you to wear a mask and hood with the electrodes. It was watching it fall that bothered her, it cut off your final link to the real world. 'But isn't that the point?' Kerry chided herself for being foolish. She reached up and pulled the plate down. It gave a slight hiss as it locked into place. The visual circuits activated and a completely blue room appeared before Kerry, 'More of a box then a room' Kerry thought. This was the operating system of the V-Suit. You could personalize it if you wanted to, but Kerry didn't feel the need. 'It's not like I'm going to be spending much time here.' she reasoned.
A soft chime rang through the air, and an attractive female materialized in the room before Kerry. "Greetings." The apparition smiled. "My name is Nina. And you are?"
"Kerry" Kerry stated.
The female nodded . "Would you prefer a male or a female companion?"
"Male" Kerry responded, smiling. The woman disappeared and a tall, tanned man, well built, and, Kerry noticed, well hung, with golden hair appeared in her place.
"Hello, Kerry," He said, in a deep voice as he smiled at her. Kerry felt herself smiling back. "I am Hank," he continued, "your guide for V-suit. I see you have chosen 'Dragon's Den' as your first game selection. Do you need instructions for this game?" he asked, smiling at her once more.
"Sure, why not." Kerry smiled back. She really didn't, she had played it on her friends suit, but Hank was much better looking then Anna's Ryan had been. She listened to Hanks instructions, not realy hearing the words, and wondered if there was some way to import him into on of the sex games she had gotten for the suit.
"Ready Kerry?" he asked when he finished.
Kerry nodded, stretching her arms. "Ready, Hank,"
"Good luck then!" He smiled, then took her hand and kissed it.
So these are the "added" features that the catalog boasted about, Kerry mused as the blue room faded.
"Welcome to the Dragon's Den!" The narrators voice began, and Kerry stopped thinking about Hank as the game began.

"Congratulations, You have slain the dragon!" The narrators voice boomed. "The towns folk are very grateful to you."
Kerry nodded, leaning on the wall of the cave, quite exhausted. That was on intense game! "Menu." She commanded, rolling her shoulders.
A small box appeared in front of her. Kerry lifted the cover and pressed the quit button. The dragon's cave dissolved and she found herself back in the blue room.
"How was it?" Hank asked, appearing from nowhere.
"It was great," she replied, smiling tiredly. "A bit exhausting though." she stretched, pulling her arms behind her head, "My back is killing me though. That was one heavy sword!" she commented.
"Would you like a back rub to help with that?" Hank asked, gesturing to a comfortable looking wooden chair.
Kerry paused, Extra features indeed! "Sure," she replied, smiling "Why not."
Hank grinned like a love-struck teenager, his hazel eyes sparking as Kerry sat down. He began rubbing her shoulders. 'Wow,' Kerry thought. Hanks hands were strong, yet soft, and Kerry felt like melting as his fingers massaged her tired muscles.
"So Kerry," Hank began, after a few moments had past. "What's a nice girl like you doing in a game like this?" her quipped. Kerry could hear the smile in his voice and she laughed.
Soon she found herself telling Hank her life story, about her job, her friends, her old boyfriends, everything.
"You mean you're not married already?" Hank replied, as he massaged her lower back. "I though such a nice and beautiful girl as you would have men falling over your feet!"
Kerry laughed. "No, Hank. Unfortunately the world doesn't work that way." She sighed. "Nice guys, and girls, always finish last. There's more jerks out there then anyone else."
Hank got to his feet. "There, feel better?" He asked.
Kerry stretched and stood up. "Very much better." She smiled. "You do a great massage." She sighed. "I should get going though," she commented.
The wounded puppy-dog look in Hanks eyes made Kerry feel like she was betraying him. 'He's a program,' she reminded herself. 'A computer-generated image, a spot on a microchip. He doesn't have feelings.'
"'Till next time then," Hank replied, sadly. and then was gone.

The faceplate lifted with a mechanical hiss, as Kerry returned to reality. That was definitely more realistic then Anna's model, she mused, removing the helmet and standing up. She stretched and looked at her watch, wondering how long she had been under. "That can't be right," she commented, puzzled, but the watches glowing numbers clearly stated it was 6:22. "Impossible!" Kerry sat back down. It had been only 5:43 when she had plugged in, and she had been under for at ~least~ two hours, she was sure of it! Another 'Added feature?' she wondered, as she disconnected and pulled off the V-Gloves. She smiled. This was better then she had thought! She unzipped the suit and stepped out of it, reaching for her shirt. Wait 'till she told Anna, she smiled as she buttoned up the shirt.
