More Chosen

I/we will eventualy put this togther enough to put on a page somwhere... :)

Shin stumbled, eyes half closed with exaustion. His legs fluctuated slightly towards the energy form before he forced them to become solid once more.
Kaworu supported the other boy, face anxious. He called for Jack loudly. The priest came quickly.
"What's wrong?"
"We don't know," Kaworu said with frustration.
Jack watched them a moment. "When was the last time Shin went into the pendant?"
Shin looked up, blinking. "What do you mean, last time?" he asked, voice tired as he leaned on Kaworu, eyes closing fully for a short moment.
"This takes energy," Jack repremanded lightly. "You have to rest."
"But I have! I've slept..." Shin protested. "Slept alot..." he almost murmered, eyes barely open.
"But that doesn't give you a rest from keeping this form. You have to leave solidity for a while to recherge yourself."
Shin looked up, hugging Kaworu's arm to himself, looking like a child. "So... So I have to go back in there? I-- I'll beable to come back out, right?" His voice was slightly worried. "And it took so much to come out last time..." he said in a quiter voice, eyes lowered.
Kaworu hugged Shin tightly, sending comfort to the other boy.
"It should get easier with practice," Jack said with a shrug. "Most things do."
Shin nestled into Kaworu's arms. He could feel the pendent around his love's neck, beconing him comfortingly back inside to rest. "All right..." he said, eyes closing.
He took a deep breath and let himself desolve back into energy, which slowly funnled back into the blue jewel, turning it silver.
Kaworu cradled the gem in his hands, stroking it with his thumb. "Why is it all so hard for him?" he asked, eyes sad.
"Anyone with a destiny has a hard life. I don't think there's been a Chosen with a simple existance ever," Jack replied. "And Shin's responsibility is so much higher than that of the Chosen..."
Kaworu nodded. "I... should find something to do."
Jack returned the nod. "Come on. I'll find you something."
The younger man followed the older down the hall, one hand still gripping the pendent around his neck.

Houjun materized outside of the doorway of the room Kaworu was in. Her eyes looked at him with longing a moment as she watched him taking care of some of the sicker street kids. "Kaworu..." she called gently.
Kaworu's head snapped up, expression shocked. Fear and love mingled in his eyes.
She took a deep breath, controlling herself. "Can-- can I talk to you? Outside?"
Kaworu nodded. He spoke softly to the child nearest and joined her, biting his lip gently.
Houjun placed a hand on his shoulder and teleported them to the lake. She took a deep breath. "Kaworu, I--" she looked into his eyes with want and longing. "I-- I-- I missed you... alot..."
Kaworu shivered at her look, eyes lowering and shoulders tensing. "I missed you too," he said softly.
There was an awkward silence a moment. "Kaworu, I-- I want you to come back with me..." Houjun finaly said. "I know you have your children and all but-- I mean-- there's children in the South too, and I--" She fidgeted. "I need you..."
Kaworu's shoulders shook and he clutched almost desperately at the pendent around his neck. "Really?" he asked in a small voice.
There was a small stirring of the silver light inside the pendent.
Houjun nodded. "I tried... finding a replacement," she admitted, voice slightly ashamed. "But it just made me realize how much I want you..."
Kaworu's eyes teared. "But... Shin...."
"What about him?" Houjun walked over, placing a hand on Kaworu's cheek.
The boy froze, eyes wide. "Shin needs me too," he said softly.
Houjun looked breifly irratated, but repressed it. "If thats true, then why did he leave?"
Kaworu laughed with almost desperate relief. "He's not gone. He's still here. Just... alseep." He caressed the gem around his neck lightly.
Houjun arched an eyebrow. "He's in that?" she asked disbeleivingly.
Kaworu nodded.
"Lemme see that," Houjun scowled, reaching for the pendent.
"No!" Kaworu pulled away, shielding the gem in his hands and holding it close to his chest.
"Kaworu...." Houjun sighed. "I'm not going to hurt it, I just want to see...."
Reluctantly, he loosed his hands, holding it out a bit for inspection.
Houjun peered into it, eyes skeptical. She blinked, eyes widening as she saw the silver figure curled up inside. "How...?" she blinked. Slowly, she smiled. "So he truely is your posession now, isn't he..." she said in a quiet voice.
"No!" Kaworu protested, reaching for Shin's presence unconsciously. "There was no other choice." He bit his lip, looking down. "He doesn't belong to anyone, least of all me," he said softly.
There was a vauge murrmer of emotion from the silver energy and Shin's soul snuggled slightly agaist Kaworu's.
"No other choice?" Houjun repeated, voice curious. "And if you hold him, you do own him... like you have before." She smirked slightly. "Now he can't control you..."
"I don't own him," Kaworu insisted softly. He tensed again. "Please don't say that."
"Kaworu..." her tone softened and she put her hands on his shoulders.
Kaworu felt himself relaxing at her touch and bit his lip again. "He needs me...." he repeated..
"~I~ need you..." she gently stressed the sylable.
His eyes filled with tears again. Slowly he nodded. "If you need me..." he said in a whisper.
She gently slid her arms down his shoulder to his back and pulled him into her embrace.
He leaned into her touch, eyes closing.
"Will you come back with me?" she asked softly.
He nodded, a few tears falling.
She smiled contentedly, holding him close, stroking his back. "I'm so happy..." she sighed.
Kaworu rested his head on her shoulder, arms slowly wrapping around her.
Houjun smiled, then teleported them to the southern capital, to the chambers formerly belonging to the emperor.
Kaworu looked around the room, then to Houjun, seeking instructions.
Houjun smiled, kissing him. "It's big enough for us both," she smiled. "I mean, the bed is HUGE.. I've gotten at least 8 people in it comfortably."
He returned the kiss. "Now?" he asked softly, hand touching the pendent for reassurance.
She smiled, hands sliding under his shirt. "Anytime we want..." she kissed him again.
He shivered, kissing her back. Without thinking, he gave her control of the situation.

Houjun steached, smiling. She kissed her lover breifly before getting up out f bed and heading towards the closet to get dressed again.
Kaworu remained sprawled as he was on the bed. "What do I do now?" he asked, only half speaking to Houjun.
"Whatever you want." Houjun smiled. "I can send in someone to get you new clothes. She quickly donned an impressive outfit done in firy reds and stapped on a sword. "I'll be back later." She walked over and gave him another kiss. "Don't tier yourself out," she winked.
Kaworu sat, pulling his knees to his chest. The pendent dangled over his knees, the only thing he'd managed to keep her from ripping off. One shuddering breath was all he managed before the tears. She hadn't even stayed. Just conquered and was gone.
There was a slight sturing of the silver light and small waves of sleepy comfort reached out to touch the boys soul.
