That's not true that a science person cannot be the action hero, and in fact that's what the trope of the Science Hero is. I indicate How to Train Your Dragon as a counterpoint -- the scientist IS the action hero, and it certainly was more than just a day-to-day thing. Though there was a montage in there, lol -- but that set up dramatic, epic scenes that certainly were attention grabbing. Sweeping discoveries like that he uncovered can really be dramatic and definitely worth watching a movie of. Unfortunately, by that statement it demonstrates that the general public isn't really used to seeing movies like that, and thus think they can't exist. XP
