Obviously you didn't remember it because you don't remember people coming over to get revenge afterward! D= (I think this was the case for me in a smaller form that I forget the specifics of so that's why I'm wary of stuff like that...)

Oh, I'm sure there are SOME out there, if you look really close with a magnifying glass -- the fact remains that it's no more than a handful out of all the stuff out there! On the other hand, anyone can think of anime, old-school and modern, where Science is Bad, or that "it's well-intentioned but it always screws up". And in fact, most modern movies have that trope too, Star Trek not withstanding because it's a throwback to the era of America when science actually was worth something in popular culture. ...Methinks I would like to put in efforts to change this trend. =P
