The longer life span and the fact that they really can't wiggle into cracks and under the couch and vanish are also big pluses. I'm just not sure if I want to get another right now. May stop at the petstore this weekend and look at them. There's also been a few up for adoption that I've seen listed, so wouldn't even have to get a "farmed" one.
