Frannen's culinary experament o teh day: BlueBerry Icecream

3 cups whole milk
Half package of fresh blueberries [bitter]
3/4 cups sugar
Package of frozen blueberries

Smush fresh blueberries into the sugar. Add to milk. Beat with electric mixer. Make faces at the foam. Let foam die down a bit. Beat again. Put in fridge to chill.

Ready icecream maker. TUrn on. Pour in mix. Pour in frozen blueberries. Realize the maker is now over full. Swear. Poke at it with a spoon a lot. Try and skim the foam. Start scopping out some and eating the blueberries. As icecream thickens, start scopping out some into a jar so the maker doesn't over flow. Shove jar in freezer. Repeat until jar is full. Boggle. Realize it's been a half hour and it's prety thick. Turn off machine. Realize most of the bluberries condenced aroubnd the bottomr of teh paddle. Make faces. Try and scoop icecream into jars. Make a big mess. Use spatula to get teh rest out of the canister. Lick spatula [NOT canister] Put jar in freezer. Clean mess.

The bits tasted while in progress were tastey. I'll let you know how it comes out when it hardens. Thinking next time nooot using the bitter blueberries, getting rid of teh skins somehow, and using skim milk.
