Elements and Fate
Is Earth the only contrutive element?
Fire is destritive, burning away at whatever it touches.
Water warps and desolves and washes things away
Wind wears at you as well... contantly pushing and pulling to make everying you care about dance in the wind.
Earth can destroy as well, taking your footing from underyou and making things unpure.
But Earth is a passive element.... waiting to suck you down, like life itself.
"When the crazy wheel slows down... where will I be... back where I started......."

The diffrence is Shin is also Strength as well as the Hanged man.
He can change what he sees, eventhough he doesn't beleive that yet....
Aki saw his own death--- and that of Hitomi
Did he see what would happen to his children? What would happen to his son? How his daughter would grow hard and cruel, fighting agaist the world to protect someone she despised? How his son would live a shadow of a life... sleeping most of his life as he struggled to life a normal life...but knowing he never could... and eventualy giveing him and letting go of his normalicy... his humanity.. to be viewed as an object... something forgien to be stared at, because he couldn't take the pain of socity forcing him back out... and when he was starting to be acepted, to be crushed again by the person he cared about the most.
If he had... would he have gone that day? Challanging what he knew would happen?
Fate is set in stone... but stones can be broken. Webs can be destroyed, cords can be severed.
And THAT is the Sword.... Taken from the one it was hung over to destroy a future that would have destroyed the one who now weilds the Sword.
He should have been dead already... but Fate guided him... prepared him, set him up to hand him the Sword and watch him destory the careful web who's weave had been warped by chaos.
Lucifer was wrong.
