Grandpa update
Back from the 24 hour yo-yo.
Saterday, Grandpa was... very out of it. The seditives hadn't yet worked their way out of his system cause his... liver? Kidney? I think kidneys were not up to speed. Got a big smile from him and demands for a kiss and then he was mostly asleep.
Today we showed up and he was out of bed in a moble lounge chair, spotted us and his face lit up and he was all 'Look who it is!' and again demandign kisses. :) When we got him into the lounge and Judy was shying to the back of the room he was all 'Get your ass over here, who said you could be so far away?' all jokeing smileing in his normal way. Grandma, of course, yelled at him cause Joey was there [Joey being Tina's kid who's age is still counted in months]. He was mostly back to his normal, impish self. Making faces at the food (the tea which he was warned was hot got a 'O.O God damn!' reaction. :D) and cranking at Grandma who was fussing over him insessently. He also doesn't seem to have that 'don't say the first thing that comes to mind' filter, so he came out with 'What are we going to do after we have sex at 10pm' which threw grandma into FITS. :D
So, yeah. Grandpa's doing much better. His lungs are clear and he's acting 90% normal. :) We think he's going to be okay.
