it WAS my opinion that it was because during the late dark ages and
middle ages, the Church was run by a bunch of ascetics who were so
misogynist as to be verging on serious women haters... it was at this
time that women who were healers were deemed "witches" and evil. BUT
the whole roman society, at the time of the founding of Christianity
was pretty anti-woman as a whole... now, I think it's just a settled
and accepted thing... again, in my humble opinion, by a bunch of women
haters... though historically, priests and priestesses have often been
celebate, this is taking it a little too far. Kind of unhealthy in my
opinion. They still think that women TEMPT men, that women can't
control themselves, even in front of the massive evidence that it's MEN
who can't control themselves! :o) (this isn't counting the men who can
of course) I just don't understand the concept that if a man is not
thinking of sex (and how often is this?) That he'll spend more time
thinking of God? I'd think that not having sex would make most men
think of it MORE.

Germans and continue to allow some of the bad stuff to continue...

this is not true, there was a case put before Bush Sr. A woman killed
her husband after he'd broken most of the bones in her body... Bush
refused to excuse it. 60 minutes did a thing on it as did many news
shows, showing the statistics that men who kill their wives get
significantly less jail time than women. Women are way more likely to
get life. I think that men tend to think that women deserve whatever
they get... not all men, just the fruitloops who happen to be judges.
