Well, in this case it's more like "buy what I can afford." LOL Currently, I have zero income and mucho medical problems. With whatever is going on with my back, I can only stand for a few minutes, sit for just slightly longer, and am in nearly constant pain (thank God for pain meds, though they make me sleepy/muzzy-headed). So, while I am so dependent on others (in this case, my parents) help, I really can't ask for four dollar shampoo. The cheap stuff will do fine. :)
