I've read about that Sodium Laurel Sulfate (also sometimes labeled Sodium Laureth Sulfate) before. It's a sudsing agent. My mom gave me an article about it last year. Since then I check everything to see if it's there. It's practically impossible to find products without it. I haven't heard of those other products, but so far Aveda is the only one I've found. Problem is... it's such an exclusive product, there's only one salon and the Aveda store nearby that stocks it. So it's kind of a pain to drive all the way to the mall just for shampoo.

But it's just disgusting all the products that include it. It's not even just shampoos. Pretty much all body washes and toothpastes contain it too! I hate them because they used to put it rats' eyes just to test how much it irritates the eyes and skin. >:(
