Damocles Creation -- Full
In the Beginning, The Creator had an Idea. The Idea became a world, which the Creator molded, creating land and sky. He made forests, oceans, mountains and deserts. In these, he placed his thoughts, which became living creatures. Some became Animals, others Humans or Elements, which were sentient embodiments of natures forces.
Human's ruled over the Animals, and Elements over Humans, but the Elements were in Chaos, having no one to lead them. So the Creator created High Elementals to rule the Elements. He bestowed upon them the powers of speech and understanding and said onto them: "You shall be Lords of your realms and keep them in harmony." He enhanced their powers and named them. The Water became Val, Fire Vas, Earth Valdis, Air Nyaka, Spirit Aralu, Light Luce, and Shadow Kajiro.
After creating the High Elementals, the Creator made the Low Elementals to govern the forces of Life.
The system worked smoothly until some of the High Elementals began arguing amongst themselves, each believe they should be more powerful then the other. Some began gathering the Low Elementals around them, using their power to bolster their own.
The Creator grew tired of the fighting and gathered the High Elementals and told them he had created a trial to decide the order of power among them. The Creator would designate one of the Low Elementals to pass unconscious judgement.
"What shall this judge be and how will we know him?" Luce inquired.
"The Chosen will not be revealed, even the Chosen will not know of his or her identity," The Creator replied.
After dismissing the High Elementals, the Creator disguised himself and wandered the realm of the Low Elementals. There he saw a pale youth asleep under a tree, a young girl of two years guarding him with a small, thin stick.
The girl looked up at the Creator and said "Leave Shin 'lone."
The Creator smiled, recognizing the girl as Innocence, and the youth as Dream. "Why are you protecting him, small child?" he asked in a kindly tone.
"Shin Kim's brother," the girl said.
The Creator smiled again, knowing Innocence was an only child and Dream's only sister was Destruction, his twin. He sat and talked with the girl a short while before returning back to the Higher realm, having chosen Dream to be the Judge.
The Lower Elemental, Blood, named Helena, had been observing Dream, believing his power should be in the realm of her lord Kajiro, ruler of Shadow. She waited until Innocence had fallen asleep before taking the still sleeping Dream to the dwelling of the Higher Elementals.
Luce noticed the youth and decided to steal him away from her rival. She used her femininity and tried to lour the boy into her bed and into her power, but Aralu, the Elemental of Spirit, had conspired with Xella, the Elemental of Affection and had arranged for Shin to fall in love with Ari, the Elemental of Healing, who was loyal to both Kajiro and Aralu, so Dream was not swayed.
Infuriated at being spurred, Luce called upon her half brother, Gabe, the Elemental of Ice and Cold, to restrain Shin with his power while she forced him to give in to her desires.
Before the siblings plan could be completed, the Creator intervened in the form of Fate, and banished both Elementals to the Sky, and far from each other, so only one could be present at a time, and limited their power. For half of the day, Luce glared at the world, causing it to become hot, and the other half Gabe glared at the world and caused it to become cold to spite his half sister. Kajiro's Shadow freely roamed the land and sky, adding insult to the injury of Luce's banishment.
