...

What is with the lack of happy endings?! Can we have an ending/resolution to an anime that DOESN'T involve a death of a major character?!

I'm tired of being near tears at the end of a show. I'm tired of having characters that the series has put emotional investment into just being done awaywith in the end! Being done away with CASUALY! I'm tired of the fucking tragic 'I'm dieing so yoiu can live' bullshit endings!

I just.... ARG. ><

Isn't the world depressing enough?! WHY must entertainment throw you freaking sad endings?!

Loveless again or another anime?

Another anime. One that when it started was all lighthearted and it has this happy boppy opening and then it starts getting heavy and REALLY good heavy and then....

The bad guy basicly wins. And two of the main characters more or less stop existing. Because being adult means dealign with seperation or some bullshit like that.

SO PISSED. >

Uta Kata.

So this is a common theme now that theres more then one that ends that way?

Man, one of those brain bending animes.... You need to watch something better. Scrapped Princess was one the girls in my campus Anime Club went nuts over, and it's not necessarily one of those cutsey shoujo animes.

I like the brain bendy stuff. [Melody of Oblivion <3] They just need endings with hope and promice, not crap that makes you cry. ><

And I wouldn't even call this brain bendy. -_- Just twisty plotl ike at the end.

Hope and promise huh? My favorite anime of all time Now and Then, Here and There, (Ima Soko ni Iru Boku) is all about that. Pretty satisfying ending (one major character does die and a few supporting ones too, however) It's pretty harsh, but the end is great.

Sailor Moon ended happy! :D So did CCS! And Chobits!

Uh... I guess that means stick to shoujous? XD

(*Ponders on most of the shounen anime/manga she's seen*) Yeah, most of those end less-than-happy. *Coughyuugioucough*

Sailor Moon and Sakura are both older series. :D

and Yuugiou's ending wasn't that bad. Yeah, YY went to the afterlife but he kinda needed to and because of him being there Yuugi had gotten strong and all.

This WAS a Shoujo. ;_; A mahou no shoujo at that.....

It was still sad. >.>

XD Well, that's not good... Those are usually supposed to be fluffy and cute at the end. D:
