So yeah... Phantom. :D

Opening bit: ROCKED.
Christine: Not bad. Not Sarah Brightman, but who else is? :D
Phantom: Kinda sucked, sadly.
Raoul: Very likeable and good.
Chick I always mess the name of/Meg's mom: Very good. Better then her London cast self.

Over all, very good. Didn't like the swordfight sceen or the random trapdoor underwater thingi [WTF?] but very pretty and OMG LOVED what they did with Carlotta. :D The women with the ear plugs and all. :) And yeay for explanation of the toad voice. :D Juchan and Kirsten were asking me how he did that. :)

The chandelier sceen: Pretty, however, if he toasted the hell out of the place... Howdid it still have seats 30 years later? ^^ I dunno. I still reserve you cannot duplicate that sceen in a movie cause dude, the freaking thing is RIGHT OVER YOUR HEAD and it goes crashing down and BOOM out go the lights! Doesn't work in a movie. But they mad eup for it by the VERY nice fade from present to past in the op. <3

So... yeah. :D Me liiiike. Even if the volume was holy SHIT loud.

Yeah. :D

In the novel the Phantom was a ventriloquist. He threw his voice into La Carlotta. ^.^;; *is a Phantom fan. . .what?*

The entire movie was so verrrry loud ^^; It gave me a headache. But I adored Raoul. Absolutely adored him. Named one of my stuffed animals after him and everything. And there were plot discrepancies.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it, actually :D

Yeeeaaah, the Phantom kinda sucked. But I loved the costumes and some of the sets, you know? :D

I have to agree about the chandelier scene. It was missing that WHOOSH sort of OHMIGOSH OVER MY HEAD? feel. At least the opening was absolutely breathtaking. :D
