as I finaly he get around to watching Gankursuou and I just...
Patternfill is NOT your friend! ><
It's like... they went photoshop happy. Everyone's hair is textured, but the texture DOESN"T MOVE. Even when the characters do! Chick's hair is being blown by the wind byt the pattern in it stays still. Like they just transparented it out and left the layer under it the patter.
.. and hair doesn't TEXTURE that way ><
Its just... I don't think I'll be DLing another ep cause I cannot get past the stupid patterns. >< Clothing moves, pattern doesn't. It's like... my brain keeps going on abotu the layering and bad photoshoping. >< It overrides the story.
And there's EXCESSIVE use of these patterns... like they were alergic to flood fill. And the art kinda sucks so the patterns clash agaist it. >< Argargarg. >< And it's not even all the art that sucks. the backgrounds and everyting look like paintsings at time. THe characters, however... Bleh. More clashing.
Edit: ... I really wish they didn;t do that damned annoying pattern fill... cause the story is good... Mindgames and twistedness. Just... GAH the fricken pattern fill! >< Too many random clashy UGLY pattern fills! >
