"Ariel---" Shin's voice cracked with emotional pain as the man's form vanished from the dream. "Iya..." The pale man shook his head. "I won't let it happen...." he whispered as he hugged himself tightly.
'One future....' his own voice rang throught the dream.
"Chigau!" Shin exclaimed, looking up, fists clentched. "I can change it... There's no use seeing if you can't do a thing about it so I MUST be able to change it!"
Ariel's limp form resurfaced, ghostly and barely there.
"I won't let it happen," Shin repeated, unconciously placeing his hand over his chest where the pendent lay warm agaist his skin. "I will protect him..." he whispered stongly. "I won't let her kill him....."
