SCOTT WEILAND has recorded a cover of DEPECHE MODE's "But Not Tonight"
for the "Not Another Teen Movie" soundtrack. The album will also
feature the SMASHING PUMPKINS' cover of Depeche Mode's "Never Let Me Down
Again"; a pair of NEW ORDER
covers (ORGY's version of "Blue Monday" and STABBING WESTWARD's version
of "Bizarre Love Triangle") and, as previously reported, MARILYN
MANSON's reworking of SOFT CELL's "Tainted Love." "I've always been a fan of
the song's awkwardness," Manson said. "It's a swingy, up-tempo, almost
novelty type song, but it has a dark electronic sound." The soundtrack
is due December 4th; the movie opens on December 14th.
